Movie Ideas - Slender : The Film. This has so much potential. Slender man is one of the most scariest antagonist in modern media. He has no face!!! He has mystery. He has a clear signal of when he is near. He has a fabricated history that would easily make a film adaption not just doable but a certainty. Slender man can be this generation’s Jason Vorhees. IF!!! they keep it to one film.

Plot- Following the aftermath of a school trip where 20 schoolkids and three teachers go missing. A police officer is recruited to scout round the town learning of the legend of the Slenderman. He bulges through the town uncovering secrets of a secret cult that worships the Slenderman and gives sacrifices to him to promise the cult wealth and most importantly life. Slenderman pops up throughout the film but he stays hidden for most of the film. This is more like a Wicker man vibe where The Police Officer finds pages throughout the street linking the cult to the Slender man. The final 25 minutes will be the main attraction as the Police Officer is knockout and put in the woods in the dark to lay sacrifice to the Slender Man. This section will play like the game, trying to escape from the Slender man. In the dark with a dimly lit torch be closely watched and follow by the Slender Man.

Tone- Writing that just had me dribbling for a film adaptation. I really like the Wicker Man vibe here. It’s nice to have a whole town being warped by a legend. The idea of this town, loving at first be so evil and dogmatic. I would like a psychological horror in the first section. Playing with the close links of the town, the cult, the disappearance of the school kids and the slender man. But the final section will be totally jump scare after jump scare. Some found footage action but mostly normally shot. I would love an ending where the police officer dies and the final scene would be white noise with Slender man’s face, well if he had a face that is.

Final Words - This is beyond good and it can be so easily done. Get Unknown actors, a small town and a setting of the woods. This would be cheap to make and I can guarantee it will make loads of profit. Slender Man is waiting there not to catch people but to create an actual great modern day horror. Paranormal Activity has run it’s course. Saw is no more. Exorcism films are really boring.Slender Man is waiting to be the next Horror Icon.

The House in my Nightmares - Sometimes I write stuff on this blog, referencing dreams, well that’s because everyone has them and enjoys them. For someone that writes short novels in my spare times, dreams are the epicenter of all my ideas. I dream about a talking tomato, it could be in my next short story about a talking tomato. However for every dream there is a nightmare. People hate theses, at first I do. I get shit scared about dreaming about fears but it is still a haven for ideas especially when you want to write a horror. For me nightmares don’t happen often but the reason why I’m writing this is because my nightmares mostly feature this one house.

I have no idea if where the house is, it’s just a house over this hill. It’s an abandoned house that looks exactly like out of something in a horror movie. It has white panel and is slightly out of place. I can’t recall what the outside is because I never really remember the transition from getting inside. However this house when your inside destroys the logic of time, place and just about everything. The house is like a dream itself, things happen and turn up from out of nowhere. Door’s disappear and reappear into different rooms and to seem like different places and houses. It would be fine this house if it was just this. There is no fear in an adventure but that isn’t the end of it. There is some sort of being that follows you round the house. Some sort of “Slender Man” is just a few paces behind you, either in presence or in inanimate objects such as mirrors or windows .There is also other beings that follow you and the constant feel of being watched is the feeling I get. Also the feeling of them getting closer and closer. Not to pull examples but the Game Slender is the perfect example of that feeling.

This isn’t a common occurrence but it does happen a few times in a year. This house. It may have some deep meaning but I don’t see it as that. It is research for me. Help when needed. It may be shitting scary. But as a writer it gives me some help into writing a horror novel. People are scared of not knowing whats going on and this house is an superlative for that. The constant feeling of being watched and followed is another dramatic and terrifying prospect. The House in my nightmares, sounds like something out of Nightmare of Elm Street. Scary isn’t it. It’s a simple concept of having a bunch of teenagers exploring a house that destroys the concept of time, place and meaning and being followed. My Dreams and Nightmares give me the ideas of what I write and it is no different with the House from my Nightmares.

Film Ideas: (Streets of Rage Movie) This is my idea of what I’d do if I was given the chance to make my favourite video game, Streets of Rage into a movie. There is already a streets of rage movie but it has nothing to do with the game. 

The main characters will be the first games main characters, Axel, Adam and Blaze. Also the main villain will be the franchises main villain Mr. X. Axel has got to be the central character and Blaze has got to be his love interest. I will have some supporting characters like Skate but they won’t be as frequent as the central characters.

The Plot-  It will start off with Axel, Blaze and Adam on a police mission to take out Mr. X but they get betrayed by the police and almost get killed. This brings the three to become vigilantes and try to take down Mr X by themselves. There 1st mission to take down Mr X leads to the kidnapping of Adam. The rest of the movie deals with Axel’s own personal vendetta of Mr X, as Mr X killed his parents (This is to reference a Sega Comic in the 90’s) Also Blaze and Axel during the film start to get more romantically linked. The film tracks the two going through LA in the corrupt and downright dirty bars trying to find information about Mr. X and the whereabouts of Adam. 

Mr.X plan is to take over the city with his full power syndicate and army of highly trained assassins. He deploys several “mini bosses” to take out Axel and Blaze. This builds till Axel and Blaze find Mr X’s final location and enters the building to take down the syndicate. The two battle through obstacle after obstacle and there is a brilliant battle at the end with Mr X and Axel. Blaze could be fighting the girl mini bosses in the First Streets of Rage. This leads to a climatic ending of Mr X’s death and Axel and Blaze’s relationship intact and Adam being returned back to the Trio. I would love a cliffhanger ending of Mr X’s finger moving at the end, to say that he is not dead and there will be a sequel.

Tie In’s with the Game- I would reference mainly from the first game. I would love to see the the fat guys that breath fire and the ultimate warrior bosses as they are quite bad ass. Also I would love the juggler guy that throws fire axes as they were always annoying to kill. For a sex appealish thing I would add the girls with the whips and leather. Cause you know, that’s sexy right there. I would also tie in the abilities of the characters. As I want this film to be martial arts based. I would have blaze good at kicks and jumps, Adam will be good at punches and Axel will be the all rounder. I would also tie in the “C special Attack” in the first game where you’d call on a police car to use a massive gun. I wouldn’t have a police car but at one point it would be cool for Axel to find the gun and use it. 

It does seem a bit of a mess but It’d be a dream to make this into a film. I have the story and I have the concept and this would be amazing to turn into a martial arts kick ass film. That has the tone of the film dark city but the martial arts of Kill Bill.
